James "Boyee" Vergin, III., 71, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
peacefully at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 
June 10 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel located at 6775 West Park Avenue in Houma. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by two brothers Junius (Winifred) and Irvin (Gustavia) Vergin; 
sister, Juanita V. Brown (Jessie, Sr.); and a host of other relatives and 
friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Jr. and Elloise Williams-
Vergin; brother, David Vergin; sisters, Eloise and Ora Mae Vergin.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
