Remi Antoine Vicknair, age 89, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Beloved husband of Helen Pierce Vicknair. Father of Ann V. Dubois, Penny V. 
Troxler (Craig), Tammy V. Troxclair (Richard) and Fay V. Donnaud. Brother of 
Hilda O'Brien and Vivian Pitre. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great 
grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto, Sr. and Amanda Webre Vicknair; 
sisters, Peggy Gautreaux, Ivy LeBlanc; brother, Otto "Tex" Vicknair, Jr.; son, 
Remi "R.J." Vicknair, Jr.; daughter Vicki Sue Ann Vicknair; grandsons, Clint 
Daniel Faucheux and Daniel Remi Faucheux.

He retired from Monsanto after 35 years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services 
at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00 
AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday at Holy Rosary with 
burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
