Doris Dae Smart Kern Bourg, 76, a native of Plaquemine, LA and a resident of 
Houma, passed away on June 23, 2016 in the presence of her family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Temple of Praise from 10:00 
am until 12:00 pm. The Religious Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 
at Temple of Praise, at 12:00 pm. 

Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Billiot and husband Bronson, Beverly 
LeBouef and husband Horace, Jr., Malissa Kern and companion Henry Billiot, Sr.; 
11 grandchildren, Tamatha Molinere and companion Travis Guy, Timothy Molinere, 
Jr. and wife Amberly, Thomas Molinere and wife Hayley, Horace LeBouef III, 
Karlie LeBouef, Charles Billiot, Jr.and wife Robin, Chase Billiot and wife 
Candy, Cy Billiot and wife Jessica, Christain Pennison and husband Joshua, Toby 
Kern, Sr. and companion Sadie Tillman, Tylor Kern, and Talor Kern; 14 great 
grandchildren that she dearly loved, Donald Dardar III, Daeana Molinere, Trevor 
Guy, Trent Guy, Annalise Molinere, Timothy Molinere III, Toby Kern, Jr., Coby 
Kern, Zayne Kern, Caleb Kern, Landon Kern, Talor Kern, Jr., Bethany Billiot, 
Kaden Billiot and Braeleigh Kern; one brother, Dean Smart and wife Vergie; 
sister, Louvenia Solar and husband Rick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Nereaux; father, Hollis Smart; 
first husband, Raoul Kern; second husband John Bourg; brothers, Cecil Seymour, 
Edmond Seymour and Lawrence Lirette; 2 nephews, Rhodes Seymour and Tarek 
Samart; niece Scarlette Solar.

In lieu of flowers donations to help with expenses.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
