Mary Lirette Hardy, 85, was born on July 11, 1930 and passed away peacefully on 
June 5, 2016. 
She was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home from 9:00 am until service time. Religious services will take 
place at 11:00 am 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ledet and husband Mike, Debra 
Hawkesworth and husband Michael, and Paula Berger and husband David; 
grandchildren, Paul Lirette, Mary Flores, Joab St. Amant, Arabella Leray; 5 
great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul R. Hardy; children, 
Nick Lirette and Linda Hardy; parents, Vocar and Alice B. Lirette; siblings, 
Antoine Lirette, Juanis Lirette, Milton Lirette, Euling Lirette, Earline 
Knoblock, Amelia Richard, and Theresa Ordogne.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
