Rosie Johnson, 98, a resident of Houma, LA died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Community Funeral Home from 
12:00 until 4:00 p.m. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, 
June 25, 2016 at Greater New Salem Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 
9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. 

Interment at Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by one son, Ernest Clement, Jr.; one step-daughter, Gustave 
Charles; and 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Johnson, Sr.; her parents, Veal 
and Mary Robertson; two sons, Gerald and Abe Johnson, Jr; and two sisters, 
Julie Robertson and Mary Jane Robertson. 

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
