Raymond "Billy" Redmond,91, a native of Montegut, LA and a resident of Houma, 
passed away on June 12, 2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held on 
Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his son; Hewitt A. Redmond, Sr. and wife Nancy; daughter, 
Leah Boudreaux and husband Norman, Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon Boudreaux and 
companion Erica Olivier, Tiffany D. Gros and husband Chad, Melissa R. Naquin 
and husband Alex, Hewitt "AJ" Redmond, Jr.; great grandchildren, Daxton Coleman 
and Talan Naquin; sister, Eula R. Leonard

He was preceded in death by his, wife, Velma P. Redmond; parents, Raney and 
Laura Redmond; brothers, Russell Redmond and Norman Redmond; sister, Eunice R. 
Rogers; granddaughter, Heather Dupre.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War
