Zeovie Redmond, 76. A native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA 
died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Visitation at Community Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 12:00-
4:00p.m.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Redmond will be held on Tuesday, June 
28, 2016 at Bayou Blue Assembly 1403 Prospect St., Houma, LA 70363. Visitation 
from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

Interment at Southdown Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Cynthia Nelson (Thomas)and 
Karen Williams (Brandon). Three brothers, Anthony, Stanley and Noel Durkins. 
One sister, Laura Jones (Ervin) and eight grandchildren and seven great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Redmond and parents, Alexander 
and Carrie Durkins. One son, Howard Redmond and brothers, Hayward, Willie and 
Alexander Durkins, Jr. Two sisters, Elaine Austin and Diane Scoby.

She was a member of Bayou Blue Assembly and retired employee of United State 
Postal Service and TARC.

Community Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360 is in charge of 
arrangements.
