Henry A. Rivet, 76, a native of Lockport, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA 
passed away on June 9, 2016.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8:30 
– F.T. A religious service will take place at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by daughters, Gwen Hebert and fiance’ Albert Lombus, Stephanie 
King, and Charlotte Pellegrin and husband Casey; granddaughter, Marcy LaBranche 
and husband Todd; grandsons, Brandon Guidry and Anthony Hebert; great-
grandchildren, Layton and Landon Guidry; brothers, Landry Rivet and Mitchell 
Guillot; sisters, Barbara Rivet and Kate Guillot.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara P. Rivet; daughter, Jennifer Ann 
Rivet; parents, Henry Rivet Sr. and Merna Dubois Rivet; sister, Merna Blanchard

He was a sports fan who loved L.S.U., The Saints, Pelicans and Dodgers. He was 
welder by trade at Avondale Shipyards and was a hardworking man who could fix 
anything that was broken. 
After he retired he was a security guard for Weiser Security. 

He was a caring man who loved to spend time with his kids, grandkids and their 
pets.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
