J Michael Rogers, 68, a resident of Houma, died on June 1, 2016.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2pm at Christ 
Baptist Church in Houma.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nellie Rogers; daughter, Shannon 
Rogers; 1 step-daughter; 3 step-sons; 13 step-grandchildren; 14 step great 
grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Sanders and Pauline Mclemore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Rogers and Margie P. Frost; 
and 1 step-daughter.

He was retired from the oilfield industry and was a veteran serving 2 tours in 
Vietnam. He was a member of Christ Baptist Church.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
