Rosa Lee Patterson Amacker, 86, a native of Magnolia, MS and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away peacefully at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 120 Hialeah St 

with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her son, Rayfield Patterson; daughters, Thelma Jones, Shirley, Henrietta, Debra and Wanda Amacker; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Charles, James, Ellis and Fred Patterson; sisters, Idella Walker, JoAnn Martin and Emma Jean Taylor. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Amacker; sons, Ray Charles and Elis Ray Amacker; parents, James and Mary Jones-Patterson; brothers, Alphones, George, Johnny and Willie Patterson. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
