He was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at Bayou Blue Assembly of God Church from 8:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Rogers Cemetery He is survived by his, wife of 55 years, Esea Naquin Bergeron; sons, Brian Bergeron, Sr., Edmond Bergeron and wife Sherri, Elliott Bergeron and wife Eydie, Joshua Bergeron and wife Ginger; grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Brian Jr., Sabrina, Melanie, Jeremiah, Carrissa, Elisha, Sarah, Grace, Jordan; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Nolan Bergeron; sisters, Lena Bergeron and Theresa Chassion. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Dennis and Eleanor Courteaux Bergeron; sons, Peter Paul Bergeron and Jason Michael Bergeron; brothers, Junius, Roy and Daniel Bergeron. He was a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God. A Christian man, Paul was a great provider to his family. He was married to the love of his life, Esea for 55 years. Paul was a hard worker and very stern but family came first. He provided so much for his family and always put himself last. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and making them cast nets. Paul was talented in many ways, in the work field he began as a deckhand and became boat captain, he was also a certified welder. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
