"Whitey" Boudreaux Sr., 76, a native of Mathews and a resident of Houma, passed peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2016. A private service will be held at a later date. Whitey is survived by his wife Mary Lee Richaud Boudreaux of 51 years; children, Robert "Bedeck" Boudreaux, Jr. and wife Teresa, David Boudreaux, and Danielle Parfait and husband Joe; sister, Shirley LeBlanc and husband Richard; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Boudreaux, Austin Boudreaux and Korinn Parfait; 3 step grandchildren, Stacy Olivier and husband Dustin, Ashleigh Pitre and husband George and Christian Arceneaux and fiancé' Rachel Bailey; 6 step great grand children; sister-in-law, Frances R. Donaldson and husband Guy "Doc"; brother- in-law, Ronald Richaud and wife Audrey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Cecile Ledet Boudreaux; brother-in-law Eddie L. Richaud, Jr. and wife Geraldine Foret Richaud. Whitey worked at Johnny's Men Shop, then went to work for Superior Oil Co. He later retired with Mobil Oil Co. He loved fishing with his son and son-in-law and taking care of his garden. He loved cooking for his family and friends. He loved all types of sports but his favorite was watching the Saints and LSU. Whitey was a loving and caring person, he never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. A special Thanks to St. Joseph Hospice. ======================
