Johnny Edward Bush, District 8 Chief of West Terrebonne Volunteer Fire Dept., 
"WTF", 47, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Gibson, passed away on July 
31, 2016.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 5pm - 9pm at Victory 
of Houma and Friday, August 5, 2016 from 9am - 11am from Victory of Houma. The 
services will be on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11am at Victory of Houma

He is survived by his wife, Rieko "DA" Bush; daughter, Teri Vanderkamp and 
husband Cade Vanderkamp; mother, Janice "Gigi" Bush Price and stepfather, 
Richard Price; 2 grandchildren Madison and Caroline.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Bush; grandparents, Own and 
Billie Sue Bush, Mildred Scallan, Charles Boudreaux, Jr. and Harold Scallan

Hero, Superman, and all around selfless. Johnny was always in just the right 
place and time. He always met every challenge with courage and wisdom. He was a 
pillar in his community. His heart of gold allowed him to be the man that 
anyone needed. Father, Husband, Grandfather, Fireman, Medic, Best Friend, Team 
Mate. Just call and he would be there.

In lieu of flowers donations in Johnny's name to Samart Funeral Home of Houma

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
