She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert J. Cheramie; parents Joffery and Kate Bourg Cochennic. Dianna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a strong voice for family unity. The fierce love she gave to her family was grounded in her love of God and devotion to her Roman Catholic faith. As a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was an extraordinary Eucharistic minister, past member of the Lady's Altar Society, and a dedicated youth group leader. She strongly fought against abortion and was an outspoken advocate for unborn children and all children. She believed in helping her community and was a founding member of the Catholic Community Center. She worked hand-in-hand with her husband in the family boat business and was an astute business woman. However, first and foremost she was a homemaker. After raising eight children, she thoroughly enjoyed being an artist, seamstress, gardener, and traveler. She will be lovingly missed by her family. ======================
