She was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday July 22,2016 from 5:30 PM until service time. Memorial services will begin at 6:30 PM in the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home She is survived by her, Husband of 44 years, Randy Fair; Parents; Aubrey and Wilma Rhodes Portier; One Niece; Desiree' Triche and husband Armond Triche, Jr., and their 3 children, David, Cameron and Braden Triche; Nephew and Godchild; Curtis Howard and his daughter, Tayah Howard; and Sister: Jeanne Howard and husband Johnny Blane Howard. She was preceded in death by her, Maternal Grandparents; Stella and Myrtle Rhodes; Paternal Grandparents; Stella and Ernest Portier, Sr.; Mother-in-Law; Edna Grace Fair; and Father-in-Law; William Fair. Mrs. Fair was a dedicated teacher in the Terrebonne and Caddo Parish School systems for 47 years. She was a charter member Emeritus and treasurer of the Krewe of Centaur and was elected Queen Centaur V. She loved to travel. Mrs. Fair requested that donations be made to the family who will make a contribution in her name to St. Mark's Cathedral School, 2785 Fairfield Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. 71104 Chauvin Funeral is honored to serve the Fair family ======================
