Pete is preceded in death by his parents Rosco Gammage and Lillie Mae Roberts Gammage Waits, one daughter Angela G. Gammage Wolfe and one son, Raymond Scott Gammage and his first wife Wanda Brubaker Gammage, and two brothers, Jack Dudley Gammage, and Paul Ector Gammage. Pete was a veteran serving in the Army/Air Force during WWI. He enlisted at the young age of 17 1/2. He loved his country and was a proud American. Pete loved people, he loved to laugh and he loved to tell a great story. He touched so many lives with his big smile and even bigger handshake. He was everyone's Paw Paw Pete and leaves a tremendous legacy of love not only to his 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren but to everyone he met. He was a man of great faith and had a servant's heart. He loved to sing praises to His God, and did so to the very end. He has truly left his imprint on the hearts of all who knew him. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." What greater tribute can there be for a life well lived. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Houma. Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral arrangements. US Air Force ======================
