Hayes Anthony Gautreaux, 73, a native and a resident of Houma, passed away on 
July 10, 2016.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10am to 11:30am, followed 
by the service at 11:30am, at Samart Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his
Sister- Frances Gautreaux Authement
Brothers- Roland Jean Gautreaux, Camille Adam Gautreaux, and Golden Joseph 
Gautreaux Jr.
and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws

He was preceded in death by his
Parents- Golden Sr. and Rosadel Chaisson Gautreaux
Brothers- Michael, Murphy, Simon, Howard, Robert, and Rueben Gautreaux

Hayes enjoyed being an engineer in the waste management industry for many 
years. His favorite past time, besides helping everyone who needed help, was 
playing instruments, such as the accordion, guitar, harmonica, and many others; 
professionally made or homemade (spoons/washboard), he enjoyed them all. 
Throughout his professional career, he also enjoyed collecting many objects. 
He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who 
knew him.
