Ethel Marie Authement LeCompte, 85, a native of Montegut and a resident of New 
Iberia, passed away on July 30, 2016.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 1, 2016, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma 
from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 
St. Joseph Church- Chauvin from 9:00am until 11:00am. The Mass of Christian 
Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at St. Joseph Church - Chauvin, 
at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery - Chauvin.

She is survived by her Sons - Rodney LeCompte and wife Marianne, Keith LeCompte 
and wife Dana. Daughters - Deborah Lecompte Watkins, Sheila L. Segura and 
companion Kenneth. Son-in-law - Jimmy Segura, Daughter-in-law - Angel LeCompte, 
Sister-in-laws - Merle Authement and Thelma Authement. Numerous grandchildren 
and great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her Husband Lloyd LeCompte Sr., Sons- Brian 
LeCompte and Lloyd LeCompte Jr., Daughter - Cynthia LeCompte, Parents - Andrew 
and Mancy Boudreaux Authement. Brothers - Druby, Horace, Druis and Adrie 
Authement, Sister - AnnieMae Collins, 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
