She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10:30AM to service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:30PM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. She is survived by her, Sons, Fay J. McElroy Jr. and wife Patricia, Daniel J. McElroy and companion Renee Romero; Son-in-Law, Benny LeBlanc; Daughters, Norma M. Theriot and husband Bill, Mary M. Matherne and husband Pete, Elizabeth M. LeBlanc and companion Ricky Kosior, Annette M. Fournier and husband George, Julie M. Braud and husband Donnie; Brother, Paul G. Dorsey; 17 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse, Fay J. McElroy Sr.; Parents, Gayden Dorsey and Roberta Belanger Dorsey; Daughter, Melanie M. Pellegrin and her husband Francis J. Pellegrin Jr., infant Alice Marie McElroy; and Daughter-in- Law, Donna D. McElroy; Brother, Andrew Dorsey; and Sisters, Margaret D. Theriot, and Helen D. Landry. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Volunteer at T.G.M.C. Roberta always felt blessed by God for her large and loving family. The family would like to thank The Homestead at Cottage Drive in Houma, LA, and most especially the management and staff at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point. She will be loved and missed by her family and friends. The family asks that donations be made to a charity of choice.
