He was 58 years old and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana. His services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Louisiana from 8:30 a.m. to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. The burial to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. He was survived by his loving wife of 19 1/2 years, Theresa Bourgeois Biondo. He was also survived by his mother, Vedelia Duet Biondo, his step-mother-in-law, Mary Frances Bourgeois. His brothers: David Biondo (Brenda), Craig Biondo (Renee). God Daughter, Regan Biondo, God Son, Jared Biondo (Lacey), Great Nieces and Nephew, Adeline, Emily, Benjamin. Nephew: Drew Biondo (Renee) Great Niece; Annie; Nephews: Ryan, Stefan, Michael Biondo, Jr., Justin Reilly, and Niece, Jessica Boykin. Nephew: Dexter Babin, Nieces: Celeste and Mary Grace Babin and Sister-in-law, Carleen Babin. He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Charles Biondo and brother Michael Biondo. Jim was a kind, compassionate man, strong in his faith, always putting God first. He adored his family and had a passion for aviation and history. His love of aviation was enriched with a career spanning over 35 years of flying experience. Being an avid history buff and experienced pilot allowed him to share the unique history of New Orleans during his aerial tours. This chapter of his aviation career awarded him several 4 star reviews. Nothing brought Jim more joy than to spend time with his friends and family and to pilot a plane. ======================
