The Rev. Claude P. Boudreaux, SJ, 91, a native of Houma and resident of 
Wauwatosa, Wisc., died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016. 

Interment will be at the Jesuit Novitiate at Grand Coteau. 

A Memorial Mass will be offered at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at Holy 
Family Catholic Church in Dulac. 

Rev. Boudreaux joined the Jesuits in 1943. He did missionary work in India and 
was ordained a Jesuit priest in Sri Lanka in 1955. He returned to the United 
States in 1955 and taught in Jesuit high schools in Texas and Louisiana. 
For two years in the mid-1970s, Rev. Boudreaux served as regional secretary of 
the General Curia for the Jesuits in Rome. 
He retired in January 2005 and took up residence at Ignatius Residence in New 
Orleans. Rev. Boudreaux took up residence in Wauwatosa after being relocated as 
a result of the flooding of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The New Orleans home of 
the retired Jesuits was closed in 2013, causing the residents to relocate. Rev. 
Boudreaux chose to relocate to St. Camillus Jesuit Community in Wauwatosa.
