Visiting will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at New St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews, Louisiana from 9am until the hour of service at 11am. Burial in New St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories, 1 daughter, Cynthia Duncan Gautier; 5 sons, Gregory Duncan, Phillip Bell, Michael, Warren and Charles Boyd; 2 sisters, Carrie Toussaint and Malinda Lizard; 3 uncles, Hezekiah Boyd, George Allen and Johnny Boyd; a host of stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Godchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Lubertha Allen Boyd and Ernest Boyd; 3 brothers, Michael, George “Snook Boo” and Donald Boyd; 4 sisters, Anna Lee, Rosa Lee, Roxanne and Pamela Boyd and JoAnn Griffin. He was a member of Third Zion Baptist church in Raceland. Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements ======================
