Miriam "Mim" T. Callahan, 73, was born on October 5, 1942 and passed away 
peacefully on August 8, 2016. 
She was a lifelong resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist 
Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Walter "Billy" Callahan; son, Craig 
Callahan and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Lanie and Jace Callahan, and brothers, 
Dan Thibodaux and wife Joan, Gary Thibodaux and wife Barbra, and Louis Edwin 
Thibodaux and wife Shirley.

She is preceded in death by her step son, Patrick Timothy Callahan; parents, 
Rivers and Ella Landry Thibodaux, and brother, Dale Thibodaux.

She was a secretary with Nicholls State Education Psych Department for over 30 
years as well as an agent with the State Revenue Department. She enjoyed 
spending her time reading novels, visiting the casinos, and an excellent cook. 
She especially loved her grandchildren. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Blanch and Scott 
Thibodaux, Elsie, Evelyn, and the staff at Thibodaux Health Care. 

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by 
her family and friends.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
