A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday August 13, 2016 at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church located at 401 21st St., Alexandria, 
Louisiana for Linda Chaney Chauvin, 63, a native of Lake Charles, LA and a 
resident of Missouri City, Texas, who died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 

As per her wishes, her body was donated for medical research. 

She is survived by her husband Fay Joseph Chauvin III of Missouri City, Texas; 
one son, Dr. Brad Joseph Chauvin and his wife Melissa of Alexandria; and one 
sister Peggy C. Woods and her husband Michael Keliehor of Hitchcock, Texas. She 
is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Eric Thomas Chauvin Jr. and his sisters 
Leah and Anna Fowler of Crowley and Adysen Rae Chauvin and her brother and 
sister Austin and Ashley Dancer. 

She was preceded in death by her son Eric Thomas Chauvin Sr. and her father and 
mother Jack and Aline Chaney and one brother Danny Chaney, 

She was a 1970 graduate of Riverdale High School in New Orleans and attended 
L.S.U. She was self-employed as a transcriptionist and retired in Missouri 
City, Texas prior to moving to Alexandria. LA,
