Tarlton Francis David, 87, a native of Labadieville, LA and resident of St. 
Charles Community, LA, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2016. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday September 
2, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA. from 9am till 
a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. 

The burial will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. 

Then all are invited to attend the reception at the Mauret Family Life Center. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Elsie Lagarde David, daughter, 
Patrica Chiasson and her husband Ronnie, granddaughters Sarah Faller and 
husband Will, Lauren Malek and husband, Michael; five great-grandchildren 
Elizabeth, Grace, Anna, Charles Faller, and Catherine Malek; his brother Gerald 
David. 

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Teles and Menola L. David; 
his sister Grace Hebert. 

Tarlton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, 
and friend. 

He was a US Army Veteran, worked at Thomson Machinery for most of his career, 
and later for the City of Thibodaux. 
He served his family, his country, his church and his community. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
