She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial: Magnolia Cemetery She is survived by her, Sons, Michael Leland Dupre and wife Wanda Duplantis Dupre and Terry Paul Dupre and late wife Debra Rogers; She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, She is preceeded in death by her parents, Aurestile Babin and Adele Camilla Authement Babin; Brothers, Roger Moise Babin, Octave Joseph Babin, and Philip Babin; Twin sisters, Marie and Marie Ann Babin, Sisters, Aleda Babin, Nettie Domangue, Anita Babin Smith, and Frances "Fanny" Porche. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. Elfie was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, watching her soaps, and getting a football pool together. She enjoyed her plants and flowers and eating out with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all of her family, and all who knew her. The family would like to thank The Medical Team, especially Nicole Sanderford for her tender loving care with her gentle and kind spirit. We would also like to thank Hospice of South Louisiana for their loving care, especially Dr. Jules Dupont, Ashley, Angie, Jill, Vera , Paul and Kena.
