James Paul Fanguy Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in 
Raceland, LA at the age of 67. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Paul Fanguy Sr. and Sadie Marie 
Plaisance, and his sisters, Mary-Jane Chauvin and Jeanette Cologne. 

He is survived by his sisters, Genevieve Cologne and Martha Fanguy, his 
children, Elizabeth Fanguy and James Paul Fanguy III, and his grandson, Hunter 
McMellon. 

He was a proud Air Force veteran and will be dearly missed by his family, 
friends, and all who knew him. 

A wake will be held at 10:00 am followed by a mass at 11:00 on Friday, August 
5, 2016 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands.
