Alice Rogers Fields was born November 8, 1923 and passed away on Monday, August 
22, 2016 at the age of 92. 
She was a native of Week's Island, LA and longtime resident of Houma. 

Alice was a school teacher and received her BA Degree in Education form 
Southwestern. She taught the 9th grade at Houma Junior High for 25 years. 

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Betty D. Fields along with many 
godchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude A. Rogers, Sr. and Annette 
Alleman Rogers, husband, Magnus Joseph Fields, Jr., son, Magnus Fields, III, 
brother, Claude A. Rogers and sister, Elise Rogers Fuller. 

Alice was a member of the Terrebonne Retired Teachers Association, Kappa Kappa 
Iota, Terrebonne Literary Club, Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters, and the 
Bayou Catholic.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am 
at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 
Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00am from Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. 

Burial will follow at St. Francis II Cemetery. 

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
