Jean Kay Fugatt, 56, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at 02:15 AM.  She was a native 
and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5 PM until 9 PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, August 12, 2016 at 9 AM until funeral 
time at First Baptist Church of Houma with a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial 
will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10 AM in Orange Grove & Graceland 
Cemeteries, Lake Charles , LA.

She is survived by her brothers, Curtis C. Fugatt and wife, Stacy, and Kenneth 
R. Fugatt and wife, Pat; sisters, Gale F. Falgout and husband, Errol, and Gary 
Ann Fugatt; nieces and nephews, Chad Falgout, Steven Falgout, Stacy Dowden, 
Alexandra Fugatt and Emily Fugatt; great nieces and nephew, Elisabeth Falgout, 
Brennan January, Kadynce Dowden, Aubrey Falgout and Kamdyn Falgout.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Kenneth Fugatt; mother, Betty 
Claire Lyons Fugatt; nephew, Nicholas Fugatt.

She was a member/parishioner of First Baptist Church of Houma.

She was employed with Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Court for 38 years. She was an 
avid scrapbooker, world traveler, collector of Carousels and angels. Her three 
cats and exotic bird were her babies. In lieu of flowers, donations to the 
American Cancer Society, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center or First Baptist 
Church of Houma would be appreciated.
