John Arthur Lovell, Sr., 68, a native and resident of Houma, died on Wednesday, 
August 24, 2016.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 10 PM on Friday, August 26 and from 8 
AM until service time on Saturday, August 27 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. 
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday in the funeral home chapel 

with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales cemetery II.

He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Billiot Lovell; children, Susan Lovell, 
John Lovell, Jr. (Lisa), Jonathan Lovell (Theresa), Pam Parfait (Antoine Jr.), 
Regina Billiot (Gerald), Jamie Lovell (Anjel), Kristen Lovell (Brian); 
siblings, Evelyn Saywell and Michael Lovell; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Matherne; brothers, Norman 
Lovell and Daniel Callahan; grandparents, Neville and Marie Lovell; 3 
grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
