Elroy Clarence McGuin, 47, a native of Houma and a resident of Houston, TX, 
passed away at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 
August 26 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 549 Andrew Street in Houma. 

Burial will follow in the Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sons King Montgomery, Elroy and Hassan Patterson; father, 
Patrick McGuin, Sr.; brothers, Patrick McGuin, Jr. (Terri), Maco Carter 
(Olivia), Courtney Carter (Mikala); sisters, Stephanie Theriot (Raynell) and 
Keoka Carter (Caesar); and aunt, Patricia Moses. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Jean McGuin-Carter; maternal 
grandparents, Steve and Joyce Castle-Moten; paternal grandparents, Sam and 
Dolores McGuin; and great grandparents, Robert and Rosie Lyons Castle.
