Floyd Dean McGuire, 64, a native and resident of Houma, passed away peacefully 
at 12:59 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 
August 6 at New St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3966 Hwy 311 

with burial to follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery. 

He is survived by his mother Leola Westbrook McGuire; son, Keron McGuire; 
daughter, Kwanza Harold (Simon); seven grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Karen), 
Barry (Anessia) and Larry McGuire; sisters, Brenda Marshall, Carrie Theriot, 
Alma McGuire, Wilma McGuire (Edward), Ruby Byrd (Stephon) and Mary Darton. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Crowell-McGuire; grandchild, Scion 
Harold; father, Eugene McGuire, Sr.; brother, Eugene McGuire, Jr.; paternal 
grandparents, Olivia McGuire Tatney and Johnny Robinson; maternal grandparents, 
William and Carrie Hite-Westbrook. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
