Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August, 23, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home and Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with burial following in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Barbara Chatagnier Naquin, son, Steven Naquin and wife Brenda; daughters, Connie Ledet and husband Barry, Lori Landry and husband Brian, Lisa Chiasson and husband Kevin, Kristie Naquin and husband Jarrod; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and one due in February; sisters, Rose Adams, Ruby Blanchard and husband Eugene. He was also the brother in law to Ronald (Cheyenne) Chatagnier and Brenda Blanchard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clerphy and Leodia Traigle Naquin, sons, Donald "Duck" Naquin, Christopher Naquin and Kenneth Naquin; grandson, Lane Naquin; great grandson, Landon Naquin; brothers, Junius, Percy, Armond and Moise Naquin; sisters, Lena Roger, Jeanne Maronge and Lincey Naquin. He was a lifetime member of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Home Hook and Ladder Fire Company No. 1 for 54 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 1114 and the St. John Men’s Club. He worked for Acadia Dairy and Borden’s.
