Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1608.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Regina Kaye Parfait O'Connell, 42, a native and longtime resident of Dulac, LA entered into eternal rest while in the loving care of her family at home on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, September 2, 2016 from 8:00am to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Dulac, LA. She is survived by her husband, Michael Andrew O'Connell; one son, Alexander Michael O'Connell; her parents, Lenwood "Neg" Parfait Sr. and Carol Pierre Parfait; two sisters, Casondra Rae Parfait and Monica Faye Parfait Milstead and husband Sterling Milstead; two brothers, Lenwood "T-Neg" Parfait Jr. and Aaron James Parfait; her grandmother, Lillian Naquin Pierre; nephew, Trey Milstead; and nieces Aspen and Abigail Milstead. She is survived by numerous close friends and family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ivy Paul Pierre, Octave Ozema Parfait Sr. and Marie Libby Parfait. Regina was anointed by God and devoted to her walk with the Lord through the gift of Music Ministry. She was The Music and Worship Leader at Lords House of Refuge in Dulac, LA. She worked at Sanders Dental Group for several years as a dental assistant where Dr. Sanders and Mrs. Candi treated her as a daughter. She also worked as an Independent Consultant for Scentsy. She was blessed with many talents and a strong, loving spirit. She willingly shared those gifts with us, leaving this world a better place than when she arrived here. Regina attended Northwestern State University and Nicholls State University. She was involved in many organizations and activities including, the Northwestern Wind Symphony and Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band, both Northwestern and Nicholls Orchestra and Choir, and Chamber Singers. She was an Alumni of Northwestern State University and Nicholls State University. Regina was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota where she served as President, and Tau Beta Sigma Sororities. She leaves behind many loving fraternal brothers and sisters. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the O’Connell and Parfait family. ======================
