Raymond P. Waguespack, a native of Schriever, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA, 
passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016.

He was the father of Debra Waguespack Bonvillain and husband David of Thibodaux 
and Arline Waguespack Mistretta and husband Sam of Baton Rouge. He had six 
grand children and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Guillot Waguespack, his parents 
Luke and Theresa Ordoyne Waguespack, seven brothers; Pierre, O'Neil, O.J., 
Lloyd, Edward, Daniel and Luke (L.J.) Waguespack, four sisters; Yvonne 
Melancon, Anne Waguespack, Joyce Rodrigue and Eva Miller.

He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a 
member of the St. John's Men's Club, Knights of Columbus Council 1114, Edward 
Douglas White Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 316 and American 
Legion post 11. He was a Veteran of the Berlin and Cuban Crisis.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday, August 26, 
2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church from 8:00 am until the Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery - Thibodaux.
