He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5PM until 9PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and visitation Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 12PM at First United Methodist Church with a service at 1PM. Burial will be held in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dottie Autry Landry; daughters, Rebecca Lynn Landry Lewis and husband, Joey of Lafayette, LA, and Jill Allison Landry Vacchiano and husband, Brian of Sugar Land, TX; brother, David Anthony Landry and wife, Ada; grandchildren, Bryce Patrick Valicevic, Conner James Valicevic, Evan Joseph Valicevic and Benjamin Paul Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Paul Jr. and Carrie “Kay” Kraemer Landry. He was a retired Louisiana State Police Lieutenant, Troop C. Veteran of US Air Force, Master Sergeant. He served as past president of Houma Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow, past president of the Harley Owners Group, Houma and life member, past president Cajun Corvette Club, Houma. Member of Louisiana State Trooper Association and Troop C Troopers Association, and was a life time member of the NRA. Member of Greater New Orleans Corvette Club and Cresent City Corvette Club.
