Rosalie Mae LeCompte Luke, 89, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10 AM. 
She was a native Montegut and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitations will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5PM until 9PM at and 
Friday, September 16, 2016 from 9AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home 
with a Funeral Service at 11AM. 

Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

She is survived by Sons: Michael J Luke Sr., Mark J. Luke and wife, Sandy, 
Thomas “Tommy” Luke Jr. and fiance’, Angel, and Alvin P. Luke and wife, Judy 
all of Houma; daughters: Mary L. Crochet and husband, Jasper of Florien, LA, 
and Charlotte L. Hebert and husband, Harrison of New Iberia, LA; sister, Yvonne 
“Susie” Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Laura Rembert and husband, Kelton, Ryan 
Luke, Jeremy Luke and wife, Crystal, Nicholas Luke and wife, Kathy, Jason Foret 
and wife, Aeh, Joshua Luke and wife, Brittany, Chad Hebert, Kristi Scott and 
husband, Toby, Amber Hulin and husband, Brandon, Erin Jones and husband, D.J., 
Lynsey Pippen and husband, Michael, Rebecca Crochet, and Elizabeth Nelson and 
husband, Pat; 31 great-grandchilden; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Thomas Eugene 
Luke, Sr.; parents, Wilfred Sidney and Nora Cunningham LeCompte; grandchildren, 
Caldon Crochet and Michael J. Luke Jr.; brother, Francis P. LeCompte Sr.; 
sisters, Claudia L. Naquin, Isabelle L. Adams and Maude Rita LeCompte.

She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Chruch. She was past Vice Pres. 
KC Aux 5545, KC Aux 1317, life member of DAV Aux Unit 9, life member of Unit 
Creole State 11, life member VFW Aux Unit 3700, American Legion Aux Unit 31, 
life member of the East Park Aux, and Holy Rosary Altar Society.
