Frances "Popon" C Martinez, 95, a native and resident of Kraemer, Louisiana 
passed away on Sunday September 4, 2016.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at St. 
Lawrence the Martyr Church - Kraemer, Thibodaux, Louisiana from 8:00 am until 
the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in St. Lawrence Martyr Cemetery - Kraemer, Thibodaux, 
Louisiana.

She is survived by her; Three Daughters, Ruth Becnel, Gloria A. Planchard, 
Madeline Kraemer; three sons, Ted Martinez, Mark Martinez, Valley Jr. Martinez. 
She also had 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Valley Martinez , Sr.; father and 
mother, Frosin and Evelie Larouse Cortez; daughter, Joyce M Kraemer; grandson, 
Timothy Scott Becnel; ten brothers, Frosin, Vincent, Victor, Alce, Ferdinand, 
Alcide, Edwin, Robert, Henry, Joseph Cortez; four sisters, Louise Granier, 
Frozine Carriere, Marie Cortez, Emily Adams.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
