Morris "Goose" Trosclair, Jr., 64, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of 
Houma, passed away peacefully at 7:53 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral 
time on Saturday at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 
October 1 at Morning Star Baptist Church located at 120 Mission Blvd in Houma. 

Burial will follow in Combon Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Susan Gallation Trosclair; sons, Morris Trosclair, 
III. (Latanya) and Jody Trosclair (Latanya); daughters, Latasha Stevens (Kelin) 
and Lisa Holmes (Johnny); seven grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; sisters, 
Lucille T. Nixon and Virginia T. Jones; and a host of other relatives and 
friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris, Sr. and Gertie Neville 
Trosclair; sisters, Zenobia Trosclair and Bessie T. Harding; and grandparents, 
Rainey Joseph and Bessie Celestin-Trosclair.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
