Henry “Bert” Bertrand Adoue, 89, died October 22, 2016 at 7:52 AM.  
He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Bourg, LA  

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 9 AM until funeral 
time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian 

Burial at 11 AM.  Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery.                   

He is survived by his sons, Thomas E. Adoue and wife, Carol Engelbracht, 
Michael F. Adoue and wife, Rayne Wild, Donald J. Adoue and wife, Janet Martin, 
and Gene L. Adoue; brothers, Joseph A. Adoue and wife, Joyce Graf; sisters-in-
law, Maxie P. Champagne, and JoAnn P. Tilbury and husband, David; 
grandchildren, Michelle L. Adoue, Lynne A. Adoue, Robert A. Adoue, Sarah E. 
Adoue, Meredith D. Freeman, Emily E. Adoue and Isabelle F. Adoue: great-
grandchildren, Larry A. Snyder, Jr. and Avery P. Adoue;

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lee Price Adoue, parents, Eugene 
Leon and Irma Victor Adoue; brothers, Andre’, Victor, and Eugene Adoue; 
sisters, Laure Adoue and Therese Pyle.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he served as a 
volunteer. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. 

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Adoue Family.
