Frances G, Authement, 88, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died 
Friday, October 28, 2016 at 9:55 a.m.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 
p.m.in the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., and Saturday, 
November 5, 2016 from 9:am until Service time at St. Bernadette Catholic 
Church.  Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 

with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Farrell Thomas Authement; sons, David Hebert 
and wife Patrice; daughters, Gail Guidry and husband Wilbert; step-daughter, 
Denise LeBlanc and husband William; brothers, Camille, Roland and Golden 
Joseph, Jr., and 8 grandchildren, Dehron and Detra Foster, Eric Hebert, Misty 
Detiveaux and and husband Dexter, Stacy Morris and husband, Caleb, Brittany 
Rhodes and husband Brad, Mary Katherine LeBlanc and Allison Yerena; and 7 great 
grandchildren, Kylie Hebert, Alyssa and Braiden Detiveaux, Luke Michael Morris 
and Jake William Morris and Aubrey and Cohen Rhodes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Golden Joseph Gautreaux, Sr. and 
Josephine Chiasson Gautreaux; step-daughter, Linda Yerena and husband Rickey 
Yerena; brothers, Robert, Hayes, Howard, Simon and Reuben Gautreaux; and 2 
grandchildren, Ritchie Yerena and Carrie Yerena.

She was a cashier at Rivette’s Grocery on Grand Caillou Road and was a very 
good homemaker. 

She was a parishioner of 28 years of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

The Authement family would like to thank Dr. Jules Dupont and his staff, Maison 
DeVille Nursing Home and Hospice of South Louisiana.
