Ida Guidroz Chiasson, 82, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 10:46 am 
Tuesday, October 4, 2016. 

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at Holy Savior Catholic 
Church in Lockport at 11 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. 

Burial will follow at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Allemand and husband Michael, Joanne 
Sanchez and companion, David; daughter in law, Barbara Chiasson; four sons, Ray 
Chiasson and wife, Glenda, Terry Chiasson and wife, Janel, Leon Chiasson and 
wife, Cheryl and Randy Chiasson; two sisters, Margie St. Pierre and Marie 
Breaux; one brother, Edward Guidroz; 17 grandchildren, Ron Chiasson (Colleen), 
Rowdy Chiasson (Selena), David Chiasson, Isaac Chiasson, Ben Chiasson 
(Michele), Jennifer Thibodaux (Joseph), Jeremy Chiasson (Heather), Betsy 
Chiasson, Leon Chiasson Jr., April Black (Russel), Tyler Walker (Taylor), 
Rebecca Allemand (Travis), Lacey Brown, Alexis Sanchez, Crystal Sanchez, Johnny 
Sanchez (Felicia), Kate Chiasson; 19 Great grandchildren, Reese, Riley, Payton, 
Mason, Bethani, Nathan, and Elise Chiasson, Jaycie and Jake Thibodaux, Peyton, 
Anthony and Jayden Chiasson, Matt LeBlanc, Brandon Chiasson, Tyler and Austin 
Baudoin, Samantha Fillinich, Sabrina Fillinich, Travis Shicknider, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Chiasson Jr.; parents, 
Horace and Amie Naquin Guidroz; one brother, Joseph Guidroz Sr.; three sisters, 
Lillian Allemand, Rita Allemand and Daisy Grabert; two sons, Larry Chiasson, 
Tommy Chiasson; and her daughter in law, Cathy Chiasson.

Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
