Born June 03, 1925 she was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. Visitation will be on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home and on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 8:00AM until service time at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30AM with burial following in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Richard Clement and wife Gussie, Wayne Clement and wife Windy, Glenn Clement and wife Cheryl; daughters, Cyndi C. Ruiz and husband Jan, Jennifer C. Merritt and companion Ricky Hotard; daughter in law, Bernadette P. Clement; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Junius Clement; parents, Cleore and Adeline Martinez Hymel; son, Douglas Clement; grandson, Jake Clement; brothers, Shelby Hymel and Kenneth Hymel. She was a parishioner and member of the Ladies Altar Society at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church. Shirley had a compassionate heart and spirit and was a friend to all and an enemy to none. She loved everyone unconditionally and had a strong faith. She adored her children and grandchildren and helped raise her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her many friends and family. The family would like to give a special thanks to her sitters, Adrian Jupiter, Natalie Aubert, her dialysis nurse, Loretta Landry for going above and beyond during their care for Mrs. Shirley. ======================
