Karla Marie Billgren Collom, 73, died Monday, October 31, 2016, at 9:23 PM. 
She was a native of Abiline, TX and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 9:00AM until service 
time at Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the 
church.

She is survived by her former husband and friend, Curtis "Lightning'" Collom; 
son, Michael A. Collom and wife, Dawn; daughters, Terry Collom Foret and 
husband Danny, Kelly D. Collom and partner Jennifer Fulcher, Leslie D. Collom; 
grandchildren, Jennifer F. Stephens and husband Ryan, Jake T. Foret, Justin M. 
Poiencot and wife Kourtnie, Austin T. Poiencot, Cameron Collom, Philip Collom 
and wife Emily, Robin C. Brown and husband, Byron, Edward Collom; great 
grandchildren, Reece Foret, Lane and Allyson Stephens, Levi and Case Poiencot, 
Kohen Collom, Lee Brown; brothers, Matthew Frederick Billgren and wife Konnie, 
Richard Merlin Billgren and wife Karen; sisters, Mary Kathleen Bourgeois, 
Priscilla Ann Lightfoot, Tanya Lynne Chauvin, and Sheila Kay Billgren Wall and 
husband Brian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl Johan Herman Billgren and 
Elfrieda Bessie Maurer Billgren.

She was a registered nurse, paralegal, Notary of Public, massage therapist, 
minister and all around guru. 

She loved many and many loved her.
