Frances Bonvillain Colwart, 75, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. 
She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Chauvin Funeral Home 
from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday 
October 20, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral at 11:00AM with burial to 
follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2 .

Frances is survived by her sons, Chris Colwart and wife Angela, Mark Colwart, 
and Todd Colwart and wife Denise; brother, Eward Bonvillain; sisters, Marie 
Houser, Margaret Verret, and Kate Theriot; grandhildren, Makenzie, Bryson, 
Madison, and Kara;

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert “Joe” Colwart Jr., 
parents, Harry Joseph and Margurite Fazzio Bonvillain; brother, Rondolph 
Bonvillain; step brother, Charles Bonvillain; sister, Paula Theriot; step 
sister,  Dorothy Bonvillain.

Frances loved her family and her faith and had an unending love to help others. 
Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many and will be 
missed by all who knew her.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Colwart family.
