Ellery "Stoufflet" Duplantis, 97, a native of Little Caillou and a resident of 
Houma, passed away on October 16, 2016.

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10am at Samart 
Funeral Home. The Military Service will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 
10:30am, followed by the Prayer Service at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home.

He is survived by his
Wife- Nell Boudreaux Duplantis
Son- Ellery "Bubba" Duplantis
Daughters- Linda Graykowski and husband Doc and Kaye Fournier
Brother- Alex Duplantis of Pensacola
Grandchildren- Paul Graykowski (Katie), Chris Michael Fournier (Heidi), and 
Ryan Fournier (Kourtney)
4 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his
Parents- Paul and Julia Hemker Duplantis
Brother- Horace Duplantis

Ellery was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was an 
outstanding football athlete at Terrebonne High School in the 1930's prior to 
joining the military. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps who 
fought in World War II and was an aircraft engineer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Houma.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
