Karen Luc Dupre, age 54, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 6:00AM. 
She was a native and resident of Bayou Blue, LA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Chauvin Funeral Home 
from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church 
from 9:00AM until service time.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. 
Louis Catholic Church at 11:00AM 

with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-seven years, Norman Dupre; son 
Greg Dupre; daughter Allison Dupre and brother Eugene “Butch” Luc and wife 
Cindy, parents, Alice B. Luc and late father Eugene A. Luc.

Karen was a proud member of the Houma Jr. High “Bulldog” family for over thirty 
years. She loved teaching and had a passion to mentor the thousands of students 
that walked into her classroom over her many years of dedication.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the H.J.H relay for life 
team.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dupre family.
