Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1610.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Arthur “Ellsworth” Falgout, 90, a native of Bourg and a resident of Houma passed away peacefully at 6:05 p.m. on October 3, 2016. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Pointe-Aux-Chenes, on Thursday, October 6, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery, Pointe-Aux-Chenes. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Gladys Dupre Falgout; three daughters, Arlene Picou and husband Gerald, Suzanna Brunet and companion Ricky Trusty, and Julie Champagne and husband Blane (Champ); sons, David Falgout and wife Mildred, Blaine Falgout and companion Marcia Ellender; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Cornelia (Pitre) Falgout; brothers, Ora Falgout, Loris Falgout, and Leroy Falgout; son-in-law Allen Brunet; daughter-in-law Debra Falgout. He was retired from Texaco where he worked as a driller and toolpusher for 40 years. He loved to cut grass. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed family trips to the beach especially to Panama City Beach and Santa Rosa Beach. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice especially Dawn Verret, Holly Duet, Deacon Danny Blake, Deacon Brent Bourgeois, as well as the rest of the staff.
