Joseph Jeffery Hutchinson "Jack" 87, a native Bourg and resident of Pointe-Aux-
Chenes died at 3:15 pm on 11-October-2016. 

Public visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm 14-October at Vision Christian 
Center, 4467 Hwy 24, Bourg, LA and from 8:00 am - 11:00 am 15-October at St. 
Charles Borromeo Church 1237 Hwy 665 in Pointe-Aux-Chenes, which he attended 
for the past 52 yrs. 
Mass will be held at 11:00 am 

followed by burial in the church Mausoleum. 

He is survived by his wife of 68 yrs, Gaynelle Blanchard Hutchinson, sons - 
Robert (Elaine), Joey (Monica), Timothy, Jeffery (Ellen), and Angelo (Melissa); 
daughters - Pamela (Roy) Taylor, Christine (Glenn) Martin, Vanessa (Kim) 
Voisin, Patricia (Jeffrey) Fatchett, 26 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 
brother Anthony, step-brothers Magnus Jr, Minus and step-sisters Maude Hebert 
and Maybelle Hebert. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Alexenia Dupre Hutchinson, grandfather 
Valerie Dupre, grandmother Anastasia Richard Dupre, father Magnus Hutchinson, 
brother Earl, step-brothers; Michael, Melvin Hutchinson, step-sister Mamie 
Terrebonne. 

He served in WWII, retired from Texaco, was a fisherman, beekeeper, gardener 
and proud owner/operator of Hutchinson Greenhouse Nursery. 

He was a great husband/companion; father, friend and someone who will be 
greatly missed by many love ones.
