Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1610.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Ralph Anthony LaBiche, 83, born December 24, 1932, a native of Houma, Louisiana and a resident of Thibodaux passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016. A memorial will be held from 10:00am until noon with services to follow at New Life Fellowship in Bayou Blue on Monday, October 24, 2016. Ralph is survived by his five daughters, Susan Freeman and husband David, Melissa Lirette and husband Lynn, Tammy Leeper and husband James, Angela Matherne and husband Randy and Rachelle Bourg and husband Jason. Eight grandchildren, Todd Knoblock and wife Danielle,Tia Johnson and husband Eric, Mindy Mollet and wife Amanda, Carl Bourg and companion Shanel, Tanner Freeman and wife Megan, Courtney King and husband Lee’Land, Craig Bourg and companion Enjoli and Austin Matherne. Five great-grandchildren, Sophia and Connor Knoblock, Boston Johnson, Caden King and Sean Mollet. One sister, Norma Bergeron. He is preceded in death by his parents, Basile LaBiche and Sophie Babin LaBiche and his beloved dog, Pierre. Ralph was avid fisherman his entire life. His most memorable fishing moments were the many years he spent fishing the Tarpon Rodeo. In February, he was named 2016 King of the Krewe of Venus at the Lafourche Home for the Aged in Thibodaux. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the Lafourche Home for the Aged for their outstanding care and compassion over the last year. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Joseph Hospice in Thibodaux or New Life Fellowship in Bayou Blue.
